What To Carry In a Holiday Bag

Sadly, I'm not off on some exotic holiday this summer, but I am pretty sure some of you are! I love packing for holidays and one of my favourite bags to pack is my everyday one. For some people, they pack each day to suit their needs, however I like to pack beforehand so all I have to do is pick up my bag and go, in confidence that I have everything I need. Without further ado, here are the essentials I think makes a great holiday bag!

Lipbalm.
When my lips go dry, getting lip balm onto them becomes my number one priority. I absolutely hate having dry lips, and having a tendency to lick them really doesn't help either. I like to carry a tube or tin of lip balm that I know will moisturise my lips for a good few hours so I don't have to worry about them drying. If I am going on holiday for a longer period of time, I take a couple of tubes or tins so I don't run out!

Camera.
Whether this be my iPhone or Canon 100D, I love to document my adventures in photos so I can look back on them and think about the happy memories. One thing I hope to do this year is print out all of my photos and organise them into a scrapbook, so I can have a hard copy of all of my photos to flick through occasionally.

Money.
Bit of a obvious one, but I like to bring a bit of spending money with me when visiting places. I tend to ration my money between the amount of days I am on holiday so I don't end up spending it all at once. If I go abroad, then I usually keep a tiny amount of English money too, just in case someone wants to be paid in pounds instead of their own currency.

Toiletries.
I like to keep a few essentials on hand just in case of any emergencies or alike, just in case! These include deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a packet of wipes to refresh if it is a really hot day or if I get my hands dirty etc. I don't know why - but having these relaxes me because if anything happens, I can sort it out quickly!

Entertainment.
If I am ever in need of a bit of entertainment to pass the time, I usually head towards my social media sites like Instagram or Twitter. However, if I am in a place with no wifi or much signal I turn to a trusty book, one of my favourite hobbies. Even if I have already read the book 5 times, I love settling down in a cosy place and losing myself in a book for a couple of hours.
