New Years Goals

New Years goals

Happy New Year! Wow - I cannot believe it is 2018 already. As I am sure you will have seen, many other lovely bloggers have been sharing their goals for the new year and I am no exception! Variations of this post has been written on my blog for the last few years, so I'm not going to end it here - I mean, it's practically tradition!

PASS MY DRIVING TEST.

Wow, that is a weird concept - I mean that's what 'grown ups' do, right? This year I turn 17, and I intend to start driving soon after - providing of course I actually pass both practical and theory tests! I've already had a bit of practice, but I want to work hard to pass as quickly as possible and become a bit more independent. You may wonder what the rush is, but since I'm the baby of my friend group and don't want to be left behind for more than I can, haha!

FOCUS ON WHAT I AM PUTTING INTO MY BODY.

2018 is going to be the year that I work on eating more natural alternatives to easy and fast food. Of course, there are moments where nothing but chicken nuggs will help but on the whole I aim to eat more 'clean' (is that the word? help me, really winging it here) and hopefully notice a difference in my body and feel better because of it.

CONTINUE TO WORK HARD.

This counts for all aspects of my life; college, friendships, blogging, mindset, everything. I am a person who finds happiness in succeeding a goal, and seeing progression so I want to continue to progress myself as a person and accomplishing new things. 2018 is going to be the year that I feel that I have achieved many things, and worked towards getting these done.

GROW SOCIAL MEDIA AND BLOG.

I know this isn't a pressing issue when it comes to the grand scheme of things, but this year I would love to start treating my blog more professionally, and more like a side job. With this comes social media too, and I want to grow these so my blog can reach the most people possible and build up our own little community. It sounds far-fetched, but we can dream!

PROGRESS SINGING.

I love singing, and musical theatre and this is the year that I would like to do something with it and get back into shows etc. I love performing; and although my nerves are sky-high beforehand, the feeling afterwards is so worth it. I used to do a few different shows, and this year I want to get back into it!

MAKE PERFECT OMELETTES.

Bit of a silly one, but equally as important ;) I love, love, love omelettes and want to master making the perfect one - I always accidentally overcook them! I'll let you know how it goes...

Have you set your goals for 2018?

    1. How lucky! Unfortunately, it is cheaper to drive places than public transport in the UK with expensive prices for not that great a service! So much for helping the environment:(, good luck to you too! x
