Hello everyone! Whenever I ask you guys for posts that you would like to see, so many of you ask for a beauty post - which to be honest, I was scared for! I don't consider myself a beauty guru at all, despite the fact beauty is part of my daily routine, so I wasn't comfortable with writing about beauty and makeup? However after putting it off for ages, I decided I would just write and share about my daily makeup products I use!
To begin with, I use my Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer which blurs all my discolouring and the odd blemish or two. I have recently run out of this, so until I get a new bottle I am just using some moisturiser as a substitute! Next, I put my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in the shade Ivory on in dots, then use my Real Techniques foundation brush to blend that all onto my under eyes and nose.
After this, I apply my Rimmel Lasting Finish Powder Foundation (wow, how much Rimmel?!) which is literally my favourite makeup product at the moment! I personally find that liquid foundation really doesn't suit my skin as it feels oily and heavy on my face, despite having tried quite a few! I was really disappointed until I found this powder foundation as it looks amazing on and it offers great coverage too. I apply this on using my Real Techniques Powder Brush.
Next, I use my Real Techniques Multi-task brush to add some of the Revolution Bronze Shimmer Highlight to my cheek bones. I love this because it offers three different shades you can choose from, depending on your skintone. I have quite a pale skintone, so I just use the lighter two options however if you have a tan (I wish!) or a darker skintone then you might want to incorporate the darker shade too!
I then use my No. 7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow, which is a beautiful brown-gold shade which is perfect for Autumnal makeup looks! I usually just apply this to my eyelid, and blend it out. Sometimes I may add some highlighter to my brow bone, but usually I can't be bothered if I am honest! If I am wearing my hair up, I will add a thin sweep of eyeliner to just make my eyes pop out a bit more, but if I have my hair down I will skip this step.
Finally I finish with my eyelashes, and after curling them with my eyelash curler (it is so old I have forgotten what type it is!) for about 20 seconds, I apply my Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara to my lashes which really completes the look. I love this mascara as it makes my eyelashes look super fluttery and pretty! I then just add some lipbalm, and I am pretty much done!
What is your everyday makeup look?
